A voluntary association, with one purpose: community.

The Angolan Association in Johannesburg is a non-profit organisation (NPO) with legal personality separate from its members. We exist in our own right, and we continue regardless of how membership changes.

Who we are

The Organisation operates primarily in Johannesburg, and may extend its activities elsewhere across the Republic of South Africa. We are a legal, recognised, non-profit body — independent and self-governing.

Governance

We are governed by an Executive Committee, elected by members at the Annual General Meeting — the highest decision-making body.
